It was too noisy, the fridge & the tv didn't work. Although, it's named the American Garden Inn, every cup, towel, sign & pamphlet says Budget Lodge. Which ironically would be a perfect name for the American Garden Inn.
value budget accommodation with pool. But price is the key.
one unit had a paper dispenser next to the toilet very hard to sit on the toilet. new pillows required breakfreast was average
Horrible beds, rudemanager, had my booking messed up .had to upgrade to get out of a smoking room .I booked 2 rooms for 4 people, 1 night. Got there and had 1 room one nite one room next nite. She(manager) blamed Booked.net but I had already recieved your confirmation for the correctnight I wanted
Their were ants on the bed the first day. The bed would make any drill sergant proud to bounce a quarter off of it! It was that hard!!! Going to the bathroom was an adventure if you like to use the toliet from the side because the toliet paper holder was sitting so close to the toliet you had no choice but to sit sideways. Needless to say won't be back like my back to much to sleep on concrete!
Clean, fair price
No outlets in bathroom, no fan in bathroom and window wouldn't open. Toilet paper dispenser in your lap. A large person could not use the toilet. Cinder block walls so fairly quiet between rooms but noisy from outside.
Rooms are large and attractive, very clean. A very comfortable place to stay, especially if you're going to be in town a few days or more.
The location is good, very close to several national monuments and lots of outdoor recreational spots as well as several wineries.
The room we stayed in was small, had a broken luggage rack, and very thin walls. During the night a group of nearby guests became extremely loud ( the police were called) which made getting a restful night of sleep impossible.
The owner was very rude. Had reserved a room for 4 nights. The business meeting we had attended was to try and help us get a job. Business meeting had gotten over one day early because of a storm moving in. Asked for a refund on last night so we could get out of there before storm came. She refused explained to her that we were out of work and down there doing some training so that we could get a job, and that we could really use the money that she was going to charge for that last night even though we were not staying. Never ate ther breakfast because they didn't start it until 8am and we had to leave at 7am. Any other hotel that I ever stayed at that has continental breakfast starts at 6am. Thats why we stayed at this hotel because it was the cheapest one there and was suppose to have a continental breakfast.
The bed was comfortable but need to imvest in new pillows
The toilet paper dispenser was in an awkward position The imternet was weak the bathroom window didn't open
Loved the ample parking space right outside my door. The hot tub was perfect after a long day's drive and hike.
The newer units were nice sized and comfortable
We reserved a non-smoking room and were given a very dingy room that smelled of smoke from cigarettes.
In one room, water valve did not work. Shower was freezing or boiling. Not my favorite place, but o.k.
Very nice little swimming pool and relaxing area.
Clean - great parking - great appearance. A quaint, darling place.
Price. Nice garden area - we had a glass of wine (that we brought) in the garden.
Older facility, but very clean. Comfort - pillows were skimpy.
